2023 Empty Bowl Sponsorship
OHgo is holding its annual Empty Bowl event at The Winerie on October 2nd to help us reach our goal of providing 800,000 meals in 2024! Now, more than ever, it is important for OHgo’s mobile distributions to reach the families in need that do not have access to transportation. One of our largest ongoing events is the mobile food pantry, serving free groceries, produce and meat to upwards of 8,000 people each month.
The Empty Bowl project helps fight hunger one bowl at a time by inviting individuals and families to come choose a hand painted bowl, help themselves to drinks and dinner (soup and chili’s provided by local vendors), and enjoy entertainment. Upon arrival, the empty bowls represent the families we hope to serve in our community, with your help, that are unsure of where their next meal will come from. Guests of the event will be able to keep their bowl year after year as a reminder of the difference we can make together.
